The 42nd International Theatre Festival will run from 1st to 11th August 2013, directed by Àlex Rigola. The Festival will feature some of the best pièces of the international and the Italian scene, as well as meetings and conferences with relevant personalities of today’s international theatre.

The Biennale di Venezia has renewed its mission in every one of its fields. In addition to its work to promote knowledge among the wider public (Exhibitions and Festivals) it has developed a strategic programme for training young artists. Known as the Biennale College, it is operative in the field of Dance, Music, Theatre and Cinema, promoting young talents by offering them the opportunity to work side by side with the masters, to develop “creations”. This is the spirit of the Biennale College, a well-equipped bridge that allows young people who wish to engage in one of the arts to do so in the best conditions that an international institution can offer.
